The items below are the kinds of questions a licensed provider should be ready to answer. If a provider cannot answer one clearly, that itself is useful information.

• Have you been evaluated by a licensed provider in person or via their telehealth intake?
• Has the provider reviewed your full medication list?
• Do you know the provider's plan for monitoring and follow-up?
• Do you understand how the medication is supplied, stored, and what the refill process is?
• Has the provider explained what to do if a dose is missed or side effects appear?

Practical considerations

Beyond the intake checklist, the following practical points are useful to understand before starting:

• Response variability — different individuals respond differently to the same class of medication
• Follow-up cadence — what monitoring is built into the program, and how you reach the provider between visits
• What counts as a side effect to report — the provider should give you a clear contact path and a list of symptoms that warrant prompt contact
• Cost and payment conversations — pricing, billing cadence, cancellation, and refund policies belong in the conversation with the provider, not on a comparison site
